Dan Radcliffe was on the Late Night With Conan O'Brien show on August 25th. A video of his interview (which is quite hilarious) is now online. In the interview, he speaks of Equus, being in New York, his experience when J.K. Rowling came to see him in the play (it was the only time a Harry Potter-related item was thrown onto the stage), the Olympics (he calls Michael Phelps an 'incredible creature'), and much more.

In another entry to the department of Harry Potter headlines that are causing double takes, Daniel Radcliffe told the Daily Mail in an interview this weekend that he suffers from a mild form of a brain disorder called dyspraxia, which is associated with clumsiness. Apparently, the diagnosis is not new, and in fact, Dan has been aware of the problem for some time.

Emma was voted Best Actress/Movie at the 2008 SyFy Genre Awards for her role in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, winning over Claire Danes, Helena Bonham Carter, Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman. Over 50,000 ballots were cast in this ninth annual competition where fans vote for their favorites in science fiction and fantasy.

Emma Watson's movie-made-for-tv, Ballet Shoes, hit selected US theaters today. It will be on limited release, for a week only before its going to be released on DVD, September 2nd. Emma Watson has updated her official site with news about the limited US release of her film Ballet Shoes in the movie theaters, starting August 26, to celebrate the US DVD release scheduled for September 2. She has also added an EMS with news about attending a summer class at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . This school is noted for such distinguished alumni as fellow Potter actors Alan Rickman and Kenneth Branagh to name but a few.

She will be featured in the new issue of Italian Vogue, which is due out later this month. The magazine will feature Emma in a fashion shoot that took place just outside of Paris, France, where she was lucky enough to sport Haute Couture for the event. We will update once that magazine has been published.

Daniel Radcliffe was taking part in the New York Times staff-moderated TimesTalks event in New York City on Tuesday, August 19th, to promote his upcoming appearance in the Broadway revival of Equus by Sir Peter Shaffer. Last night at the event Dan spoke of many things, including his work in the Harry Potter films, Equus, My Boy Jack, David Copperfield, and The Tailor of Panama, to how he was adapting to living in New York City, numerous anecdotes from the films' and play's sets, fellow actors and much more.

The Broadway show A Chorus Line had its final performance yesterday, Sunday August 17. Daniel Radcliffe managed to get tickets for the show. Sara Nordenstam, who won the Bronze medal in the Women's 200 Breastroke at the Beijing Olympics yesterday, has stated that she listens to the Harry Potter audio books to calm her down.

"I was very nervous and I needed something to calm me down and I listen to the Harry Potter books because your mind goes off to a magical world and it's great because I was able to keep my nerves in control."

The Birmingham Post has an interview with Richard Lucas, a screenwriter, who in talking about his new project Lip Sync, mentioned that the script has been sent to Dan Radcliffe. Set in Birmingham, England, it is a romantic comedy. The project is to be directed by Peter Minns and produced by Adrian Milne.

Of Dan's potential involvement with the film, Lucas said, "I have spoken to his agent and he loves the script. It would be great for him to play a romantic lead. Alex is not somebody who is particularly smooth and I can’t think of anyone better to play it than Daniel. He has got that awkwardness but he is still handsome, and both boys and girls like him.”

Although we may not see all the Harry Potter stars at Hogwarts again this Fall, there will still be one Harry Potter star to shine that weekend of November 21. Robert Pattinson, who had the role of "Cedric Diggory" in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, will be seen in his upcoming movie, Twilight.

According to an article posted on MTV.com and MarketWatch.com , Summit Entertainment -- the company behind the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's first Twilight novel -- announced that the film based on the book by Stephenie Meyer will be released on November 21, 2008 instead of December 12.

CNNMoney posted an article which states IMAX has already adapted to the new scheduled release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on July 17, 2009. Like everyone else, they only learned about it today.

The LA Times has a new article up highlighting how upset fans are at Warner Brother's decision to push back the release of Half-Blood Prince to July 17th, 2009. They spoke with WB president Alan Horn about the matter, who tried to come up with more reasoning. The article wrapped up with this quote from Horn: "We would never do anything to hurt one of the movies or the series. We love our fans."

What do you think of Potter film delay? The CBBC Newsround has posted some fan opinions about the new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince release date. Disgruntled Potter fans are using the internet to be very vocal about the move. Facebook groups , YouTube videos , and online petitions have been trying to make their mark on WB.

This week's issue of Entertainment Weekly has a fall movie preview of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry is on the cover. Ironically, this movie won't be released in the fall, which the WB failed to acknowledge to others. Check out the new images of Harry and Hermione. Steven Kloves has turned in the first draft of the script to the "Deathly Hallows" film part one, noting the break in the two films is "not where I originally anticipated." There are also new interviews with Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint (who speaks about Ron kissing Hermione in Deathly Hallows), Emma Watson and more.

Warner Brothers have today announced that the Half-Blood Prince release date is to be pushed back to summer 2009. The release date will now be July 17th 2009 instead of this coming November. This news has been confirmed with Warner Bros. The official Harry Potter website for the film has been altered to reflect the change in release date. However, they should probably change the date in the teaser trailer because it still says November on it.

In making the announcement, Mr. Horn, President and Chief Operating Officer, Warner Bros. stated, "Our reasons for shifting 'Half-Blood Prince' to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment."
